ibritish-insane software package provides British English dictionary for ispell (insane version), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ibritish-insane
ibritish-insane is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ibritish-insane package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ibritish-insane *
You will get with ibritish-insane package name, version, architecture and description in a table
